Hurricane Matthew delivered a devastating blow to Haiti. Sabine Guerrier, HHFoH’s leader was in Haiti at that time. She reported flooding in coastal and low lying areas, strong winds with trees down and buildings damaged.

The need is great in Haiti.  There are reports of whole communities and towns flooded with many people missing. Haitian Heritage and Friends of Haiti is collecting relief kits to ship and distribute in Haiti. We are connected in Haiti and will deliver the kits to people that are most in need.

The attached document(relief-kits-for-haiti) has 4 types of relief kits for Haiti along with packing instructions:
  • Food Kits
  • Water Buckets
  • Health and Hygiene Kits
  • Cleaning Kits

In addition to the relief kits we are collecting school supplies to distribute as well. Items to include paper, notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, and markers.

Please help Haiti by building the relief kits. We will collect the kits and ship them to Haiti once a month.  Our first shipment will arrive in Haiti Monday the 24th.  This is an ongoing efforts and we will ship the kits on the third Wednesday of each month. We appreciate your help.
